Back to the roots. Starting Amateur Radio more than 70 years ago I used a nostalgic Hand key. But very soon I build an big electronic keyer with tubes. The mechanic was a simple selfmade single paddle according Vibroplex. But these selfmade key was not as good as necessary for my high Speed passion. Therefor I build a transistorized keyer with the mechanics contact set of an telegraph-relay. This was fine for me also for high speed telegraphy. But in the beginning 2000 the tension band would no longer working and I changed to the double paddle keys with solid mechanics from Kent and Schurr. But in all these years I was no friend of this keys. My fingers had problems with the space of the two finger pices and produced a lot of mistakes in my telegraphy signals. Therefor now I searched and found on the Internet the single paddle key CT755 from Yuri, UR5CDX, and I purchased one. One week later the key was very well packed in my hands. Quickly connect it to the electronic and played with it a little. What should I say, the old feeling of the telegraph-relay-contact-set was back with me. Now I have the new key some weeks and am totally satisfied with this beautiful model from Yuri, thank you very much.
